Governing Body

Shree Geet Law College, Lucknow is an affiliated institution of the University of Lucknow and functions strictly in accordance with the statutes, ordinances, academic regulations, and guidelines prescribed by the affiliating University and other competent statutory authorities governing legal education.
As an affiliated college, the institution does not exercise academic autonomy in matters relating to curriculum design, examination pattern, evaluation system, or award of degrees. These functions are regulated and controlled by the affiliating University. The College implements the syllabus, academic calendar, examination framework, and evaluation procedures as notified by the University from time to time.
The Governing Body of the College acts as the apex administrative and policy-level authority responsible for institutional management, regulatory compliance, and effective implementation of University directives. It ensures that the College operates within the framework laid down by the affiliating University while maintaining high standards of academic discipline, administrative transparency, and financial accountability.
The key functions of the Governing Body include:
    • Ensuring compliance with the statutes, ordinances, and regulations of the affiliating University.
    • Monitoring the effective implementation of University-prescribed curriculum and academic policies.
    • Supervising administrative efficiency and financial management.
    • Approving institutional development plans and infrastructure enhancement proposals.
    • Reviewing audit reports and ensuring fiscal discipline.
    • Facilitating quality enhancement measures in coordination with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
The Manager provides strategic and policy-level direction to the institution. The Principal, as the Head of the Institution, is responsible for executing the decisions of the Governing Body and ensuring adherence to University regulations in all academic and administrative matters.

The institutional governance structure operates through two principal wings:

Administrative WingComprising the Administrative Section, Controller of Examination, Accountant, DSN, and Central Office, this wing ensures proper record maintenance, University examination coordination, financial compliance, and institutional documentation.

Academic Wing: Comprising the Head of Department (HOD), Faculty Members, and Librarian, this wing implements the University-prescribed curriculum, conducts internal assessments as per guidelines, and maintains academic standards.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) functions as a facilitative body to promote quality sustenance and institutional development within the framework of affiliating University norms and NAAC quality benchmarks.
Through a structured governance system aligned with University of Lucknow regulations, Shree Geet Law College ensures systematic administration, academic integrity, and institutional growth.
